1. Who We Are
Fixers in Indonesia is the Indonesia production-services brand of NeedAFixer, operating this website at fixersinindonesia.com. We provide film and video production fixing and coordination services for productions filming in Indonesia. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@fixersinindonesia.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiries and run this website:
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact form we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message, along with any project, company, budget, or phone details you choose to include. To help us respond and understand where enquiries come from, the submission also records basic context — the page you submitted from, the site that referred you, and any campaign (UTM) parameters — which is sent to our form processor with your message.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical and usage data — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages — through cookies and analytics, to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of data, and we ask that you do not send us sensitive personal information through the contact form.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss production services in Indonesia;
- To provide information, quotes, and follow-up relevant to your request;
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve this website;
- To detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse;
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) applies, we rely on: yourconsent (for example, for non-essential analytics cookies); our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, securing the site, and growing our business in a way that does not override your rights; and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we can remember it on future visits. Google Analytics 4 loads on every page through Google Consent Mode v2: until you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner, it runs in a consent-denied state — it does not store cookies or identifiers on your device and sends only aggregated, cookieless measurement signals; once you accept, full cookie-based analytics are enabled. Our contact form also uses Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies needed to tell humans from bots and protect the form from abuse. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time through the banner, and managing cookies in your browser settings does not affect your ability to use the site.
6. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, and only as needed:
- Formspree — processes our contact-form submissions and delivers them to us;
- Google reCAPTCHA — protects the contact form from spam and abuse (subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms);
- Google Analytics 4 — provides aggregate usage analytics where you have consented;
- Vercel — hosts and serves this website.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others.
7. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers operate internationally and may process your data in other countries, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we seek to rely on the providers' own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms, to protect it.
8. Data Retention
We keep contact-form messages and related correspondence only for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and to meet legal or record-keeping obligations, after which we delete or anonymise them. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information; to object to certain processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@fixersinindonesia.com. If you are in the EU/UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption in transit and reputable processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to address any incident promptly.
11. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for production professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
13. Contact Us
